This May, Windsor Hackforge is proud to present a series of free events in recognition of National AccessAbility Week.
Our programming aims to foster connection, collaboration, and understanding between people with disabilities, businesses, technologists, advocacy groups, and the broader community.
The full schedule is available on our events calendar, and includes interactive workshops, lectures, and conversations on topics such as equitable and inclusive artificial intelligence, assistive reading technology, and labour market interventions. Sessions will feature speakers from Windsor-Essex and beyond, including Dr. Jutta Treviranus, Ioana Gandrabur, and David Best.
Many events will be held online to ensure accessibility, and — as always — Hackforge events are free and open to all.
National AccessAbility Week is observed across Canada during the last week of May. It celebrates the contributions of people with disabilities and highlights the work being done to build a more accessible and inclusive country.

This year’s accessibility series could not be happening without the support and participation from our partners:
