Pytheas is an open source, digital walking tour guide developed by Parallel 42 Systems in 2022. It has been used to create the McDougall Street Corridor and Queer Walk walking tours.

Over the past three months, Hackforge’s developer advocate intern Haley Tibbits has been working on improving the Pytheas codebase. Her goal was to make the system more user-friendly, including cleaner packages and comprehensive documentation. And now Haley’s ready to show off her work!

Tune in to this virtual event on Monday, April 15th to get a step-by-step walkthrough of a Pytheas implementation. Learn more about the platform and how it can help you guide visitors on a food tour, historic exploration, or scavenger hunt.
