This Sunday, September 22, Hackforge will once again be participating in Open Streets Windsor! This year we’ll be set up in Ford City, at roughly 1024 Drouillard Road (just south of Whelpton St).
For this year’s activity we’ll be introducing visitors to MotorCityMurals.tours, a web app released earlier this year. Focused on local street art, this no cost, no download, no sign up app will guide users from mural to mural throughout the city. With some of the densest availability of outdoor art, Ford City is a great place to test out the app.
We’ll also be running short tours every 30 minutes starting at 10:30 am! We’ll be helping walkers to learn the app, and guiding those without phones or data plans to some of the more hidden pieces in the area.
Make sure to stop in and say hi as you walk and wheel your way across Windsor!
