Our next Hack Forge Linux User Group meetup is about bootable containers!
On Thursday, November 28th Charlie from Red Hat will be showcasing the new technology of creating an entire bootable OS from a singular Containerfile/Dockerfile.
With the knowledge from this session, you’ll be able to go from using a container to storing it on a bootable USB stick, or running it in a virtual machine.
This event is ideal for:
💾 Anyone curious about containers or virtual machines
💾 Those interested in learning more about bootable container technology
Introductory knowledge of a Containerfile / Dockerfile required to ensure you get the most out of this session. No other experience necessary!
Everything will also be (mostly) done through GUI.
Download and install Podman Desktop beforehand to follow along.
