Search Engine Optimization (SEO) means different things to different people, but the ultimate question that is asked by virtually every website owner is a simple one:
How do we ensure that prospective customers or users are finding us when using online search, and ideally doing so before they discover competitors or alternatives?
This workshop introduces the core concepts behind Search Engine Optimization, including the 4 main pillars of SEO and how each one contributes to your website’s search ranking. We’ll then take an introductory tour of the premier SEO plugin for WordPress: Yoast SEO. You’ll learn how to leverage this plugin effectively to improve your website’s SEO posture.
