The Rust programming language has been steadily gaining popularity since its introduction in 2015. An all-purpose, system-level language, Rust allows experienced programmers to quickly write stable code.

Bring your laptop to this intermediate-level programming session, and learn the basics of Rust! Regardless of what it is, as long as you know at least one language, you’ll be able to pick up Rust.

This session will offer a mixture of lecture-style instruction with hands-on activities, so make sure you bring a machine with Rust pre-installed (https://www.rust-lang.org/tools/install). If you don’t have a computer, please reach out to info@hackf.org and we’ll have one ready for you (quantities are limited!)
