Border City Data is beginning a new series, and with a new host!
Join Hackforge Board Member Rashmi Krishnamohan for an introductory session to data analysis. In this free, entry-level workshop participants will learn:
- Data Cleaning: Techniques to remove duplicates, handle missing values, and correct data inconsistencies
- Data Transformation: Using Excel functions and Power Query to reshape and prepare data for analysis
- Dashboard Creation: How to build an interactive data visualization
This event will use Microsoft Excel. Both Excel Online and Desktop versions will work. Other spreadsheet software (such as Google Sheets or Open Office Lists) will not behave exactly as described in the lesson, and Rashmi will not be troubleshooting differences during the session.
If you do not have access to Excel, you can sign up for a free one month trial through Microsoft.
